Visa and Work Permit
Depending on following conditions:
1-If the applicant is already in Turkey with a resident permit, application takes up to 10 weeks.
2-If the applicant is already in Turkey with no resident permit, a resident permit must be obtained before filing a work permit. Therefore, duration of work permit application takes about 12 weeks starting from the appointment date for resident permit application.
3-If the applicant is abroad, it takes up to 10 weeks.
Cost of resident permits and work permits are covered by employers. Though, if the application filed abroad, candidate will have to pay the visa fees and get reimbursed upon arrival. The usual cost of the work visa varies from country to country, i.e. in USA it is $400 – 500 depending on the state and Turkish Consulate, in the UK GBP 300 – 500 depending on the city. Within Turkey: There are two prerequisites for work permit application when filed in Turkey,
1-A preliminary approval from Ministry of National Education
Once the above two obtained, Boz Recruitment files for work permit at the Ministry of Labor and Social Security.
The only prerequisite is preliminary approval from Ministry of National Education when applying from abroad. All these documents are obtained by Boz Recruitment with the authorization of the school/employer.
Applying while abroad: Following steps are taken while applying work visa from applicant’s home country
1- A preliminary approval from Ministry of National Education
2- Paperwork mailed to candidate
3- Candidate visits the consulate
4- Consulate gives candidate an application number, this number expires in 10 days.
5- We file work visa application at the Ministry of Labor
6- Once approved, we notified the candidate to go back to the consulate and get her/his passport stamped.
